The Problem:

Earnest, a fintech company specializing in student loan refinancing and personal loans, needed to evolve their brand identity across a fragmented digital marketing landscape. Their existing assets were in need of a brand refresh and unification of their comms templates, making it difficult for internal marketing teams to quickly deploy consistent, high-quality content across different stages of the consumer funnel.

The Solution:

We developed a refreshed visual identity that informed the build of a comprehensive Figma toolkit for the Earnest marketing team to seamlessly build on brand marketing comms assets. The toolkit featured pre-built components that allowed for quick assembly while maintaining strict brand guardrails. We expanded this system beyond email to include display ads, infographics, and animated social content, ensuring a cohesive story was told at every digital touchpoint.

My Role:

Creative Director. I worked closely with a small creative team of an Art Director and Junior Art Director on the development of the visual identity and the creation of the Figma toolkit including an extensive stock library. I also collaborated with a motion designer to ensure the modular components were flexible enough for various formats, and worked closely with the client’s internal marketing team to facilitate the brand’s digital evolution across their social and email channels.
